Battle of the Bulge II It was a cold December 12th, 2005. Troops from both the Allied and Axis sides of Outdoor Adventure’s Battle of the Bulge II scenario rumbled into the lot wiping the sleep from their groggy faces. What started off as a cold day, with snow still lingering from the last fall, turned quickly into much warmer, much wetter as the day went on. Tanks from both sides battled shadows and each other as the fighting intensified. The Allies, led by General Josh Ruby, quickly took the entire field off the break. Fellow Sea Monkeys Tom, Mike, Brett, Derek, Marshal and FNG Russ and Chas helped maintain order throughout the day. There was so much order and tactical advantage that the Allies were forced to retreat to the castle at Bastogne to give the Axis a chance to break out of their rejuve. The day went on smoothly as even B-Ski got the opportunity to get out of the new tank ‘The Paint Magnet’ to run a few missions on his own. Overall score ended with Allies victorious over the Axis. Special thanks to General Mills the ‘cereal killer’ for being such a formidable opponent. We look forward to the rematch you vowed! Highlights of the game can be caught in the March 2006 issue of Paintball Sports Magazine. |
